I went here at 07:00 on a Friday morning to get bagels for the work crew. 18 to go, three tubs of cream cheese, and - OUT! Excellent, fast service. I loved the look of the place, too. The dining room has some tables, a counter, and several comfortable looking chairs near the windows. I definitely had to return with the husband for coffee, bagels and newspaper on the weekend. Cue the scary music - NOOOOOOO, don't do it! We went in the next day, Saturday, at about 11:00. How did so many people get in there? Kids all over the place, feet on chairs, screaming, crying, running around, picking at thier bagels and throwing pieces on the floor, then everyone just gets up and walks away. There is nobody working at a bagel place, or any other fast food establishment, who is getting paid enough to pick up the food your unsupervised child threw on the floor! It's like parents think that because it is fast food, their kids don't have to behave. Get it together, people. Anyway, all those things not really in control of the staff. However, they lost our order. We waited forever and then they just skipped us. When we went up to suss it out, we had to remind them what it was. What's the computer and screen for? Can't you scroll back and see our order? Evidently not. Then they brought it out with a sheepish "sorry", and that was that. I mean, in my life this is not one of those slights that I'll carry with me forever, but it kind of sucked and cast a pall over the whole experience. And when I'm eating a 280 calorie asiago cheese bagel, it had darn well better be a great all around experience. I don't waste those kinds of carbs every day.

Bagels are delicious like all Einstein Bagels, but for whatever reason the service at this particular shop is just really sub-par. For the eighth time I was given only 12 bagels when I ordered a baker's dozen (which is 13). I complained once before and there is no improvement. This has occurred both when I order ahead of time as well as when I order the bengals in person. Can't they hire people who know how to count to 13?

Doesn't look like much from the outside but totally chill environment inside. Got the turkey club panini and broccoli cheese soup and it was fantastic. Service was awesome, super friendly and really fast. Recommend to everyone.

It's a Bagel.......what more do you want to know? I come here sometimes and get a wheat product with a hole in the center. Then a coffee. What do you want me to review next, the gas station down the road?

Every time I've been here the food has been great. But I guess good things can't last too long. I ordered my usual turkey, bacon & avocado and when I got it the lunch meat was disgusting. It was like eating processed turkey gel that had almost no taste. It was extremely disappointing considering their lunch meat was such good quality not 3 weeks ago. I guess when they get settled in and repeat customers they let the quality drop.

I love bagels and was happy to find out that there was an Einstein Bros near my house on the west side. Albuquerque definitely needs more bagel shops, Einsteins is the only one I know of. Anyhow I went through the drive through with 4 cars ahead of me. Quick service and good food. I enjoyed my breakfast bagel sandwich very much and plan on coming back here on weekends or before work if I can wake myself up in time.

What the hell happened to this place? They were awesome when they first opened up, great staff and never screwed up my order. As of late, someone fumbles every time I order something now....what gives!? The iced mocha I got earlier this week was...I dunno what it was made with, but it certainly wasn't good. It's as if their pre-made mocha mix went bad. Tasted horrible and it's my own fault for not trying it while still in the shop (was running late for work). My bagel barely had any cream cheese, which was annoying considering what it cost by the time I left with that an my drink. Meh. Today, ordered a few things for some coworkers since I pass Einsteins on my way to work. I called the order in, had the gal confirm my order (specifically made sure that the bagels got plain cream cheese) and picked it up about 15 minutes later. It all looked good (wasn't going to unwrap every bagel) the register screen reflected my order, paid and rolled out. Got to work and my turkey cheddar bagel looked...uh....gelatinous. I didn't know what to make of it. Ended up getting sick a short while later, so thanks for that. My co-workers bagels? Apparently instead of plain cream cheese, they slathered them with jalapeño salsa smear. WTF? I didn't even know that was available / offered there. No one wanted their bagels because that smear was way too spicy ( the majority of us aren't NM peeps). So, I got to eat that cost since none of them wanted the bagels and wanted their money back. I can't blame them. This was the last straw for me. As you can see, I was the first to review this place and loved it. Now I'm so aggravated, especially with what I'm considering food poisoning, that I don't want to go here anymore. VERY unfortunate. I thought some of the other reviewers were exaggerating with the negativity, but nope, they're spot on.

I love Einstein Bagels but this location just cannot seem to get their act together. The lady that helped me couldn't seem to figure out how to run a credit card and after she accidentally selected cash as my payment method, she turns to me and says, "you've got cash right?". They gave us the wrong bagel, plain when we ordered sesame seed. It goes without saying that we'll go to another location from now on.

Food is always great however at 9am it took 15 minutes to get through the drive through. 2nd thing they offer a free drink after you buy 4 premium coffees they will give u a free one. I buy 4 larges but the free drink is a medium that is messed up.

Very clean store. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. I had a Carmel machiato- very tasty. Probably the cleanest one I have been in- comfortable seating, nice lay out.

Love the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast bagels! Not a huge fan of having to repeat my order 3 times at the drive-thru. It's a running joke now; when I request crispy bacon we wager on whether or not she will say "turkey bacon?" and also if she will blame it on the wind that she mistook my request. (Some days, yes, it is windy. Not every day). Anyway, food is generally very good. The prices are a little ridiculous. We generally end up paying $20+ for 3 bagels, 1 soda, and 1 coffee when we visit. If my schedule ever permits regular grocery shopping, we will likely hit the grocery store and save on the 200% mark up they're charging for preparing our bagels. *UPDATE* ( 6/6/2015 ) Apparently the drive-thru customers have priority over the people standing in front of the counter. I made my way inside this time in order to avoid repeating my order several times in the drive-thru. 13 cars have gone through the drive up window as I stand here in the dining room waiting for my order for 20 minutes now. I'm sad to say this will be my last visit to this location.

I really enjoy this Einstein location. The service is fast and they have never messed up my order. The drivethru line can get a bit long in the mornings but you are usually out of there in no more than ten minutes.

Struggle to take my order today . Cashier with no knowledge is a repeat guest killer . Manager did a decent job fixing the problem . Bagel was mis-cut too. Food received in average period of time

I was very excited when I found out they were opening an EBB close to where I live. I'm not a regular per say but if I crave their hazelnut coffee it's nice not having to drive across town for it. They have been very nice and friendly both time i've been there. This location is definitely better than the others I've visited.

The one on the other side of town is much better. There had to have been 10 works and somehow I wait at a register ready to order for 10 minutes before even being greeted. For their prices serves should have been much better, faster, and more friendly. My food didn't look like it was handled with care. It looked very thrown together.

Best fresh food and coffee. Superb customer service. I had a business meeting that took two hours and we were not bugged the whole time except to make sure that we were taken care of.
